Abstract

The article presents a training program within the framework of the Polish-Ukrainian Council of Youth Exchanges Competition. The training was created to train psychologists, social pedagogues, and volunteers to work in the field of intercultural communication among young people and is practically aimed at strengthening international cultural dialogue. The training program is based on the paradigm of intercultural communication, has interrelated components: behavioral, cognitive, affective, semantic. Training participants learn the basic principles of building intercultural dialogue based on various aspects of intercultural communication: cultural, linguistic, ethical, psychological, social-communicative, professional-applied. Understanding of language and culture in the training takes place through the creation of metaphors, comparative tasks, adaptation of folk traditions and art to modern times. Acquisition of new meanings is carried out as a result of interpretation and reflection of project participants. The presented program is designed for eight days, is implemented within the framework of informal education with the acquisition of skills of intercultural interaction in various forms of work.
