Abstract

The loss of a loved one, especially when it is unexpected, is an explosion, unbearable pain, and often a loss of meaning in the life of the survivor. Sooner or later, all people face the loss of loved ones in their lives, and everyone experiences it differently. A social worker can help a family or a person who has lost a loved one to organize a farewell. Often people who have received news of a sudden death or loss of life are often confused, shocked, and unprepared to act. Here are 9 questions for a social worker to ask to prepare a proper farewell and support the family.
