Abstract
The main milestones of the life and activities of the director of the Simon Petliura Ukrainian Library in Paris, Petro Yosypyshin, a well-known Ukrainian public figure in France, are outlined. His most important contribution was the revival of the aforementioned Library and its transformation into the center of the cultural life of the Ukrainian diaspora in France.
