Abstract

The development of educational programs aimed at fostering social integration and strengthening civic identity is a crucial aspect of Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction. The war has led to significant social fragmentation, mass displacement, and psychological trauma, creating substantial challenges for national unity and democratic resilience. The relevance of this study lies in the necessity of restoring social cohesion by equipping individuals with the knowledge, skills, and values essential for active citizenship, mutual understanding, and reintegration into a rapidly changing society. Education serves as a powerful tool for addressing these challenges by promoting critical thinking, historical awareness, and a sense of collective responsibility. However, existing educational frameworks often fail to consider the unique needs of war-affected populations, particularly internally displaced persons, veterans, and youth, highlighting the need for innovative and inclusive approaches.
