Abstract

The article considers the problem of the implementation of the communicative-activity approach, which enables to establish the core component within the professional framework of journalist activities, notably the background for both effective acquisition of the learning content and achievement of the goals of higher education in the view of professional and value and cognitive-educational focus of future specialists in the media industry in the process of linguistic disciplines acquisition. Strategic provisions of the legislative and regulatory framework of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine (Laws of Ukraine “On Education”, “On Higher Education”, State National Program “Education (Ukraine of the 21st Century)”, Standard of Higher Education of Ukraine: specialty 061 Journalism of educational level: first (bachelor’s) educational level programs: 061.00.02 Advertising and public relations, National doctrine of the development of education of Ukraine in the 21st century, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) focus the scientific community and practicing educators on the development of productive approaches, programs, educational and methodological support for the training of future journalists able to implement the professional mission in unconventional environment, to undertake continuous self-development and self-actualization. It is pointed out that the present day challenging situation in Ukraine assumes the shift in the research and teaching community to practice-oriented education in institutions of higher education, which aims at forming the Ukrainianspeaking personality of the future specialist in a specific field, notably journalism, to create the enabling environment for self-development, self-improvement and self-actualization, adapting it to a changing society and manifestations of various types of aggression of an insidious enemy. It was established that the integration of pedagogical education into the European educational space enhanced the shift in the research and teaching community to European standards, which primarily provide for the training of a competitive, socially and professionally mobile specialist, able to act in non-conventional environment applying accrued individual techniques and accumulated communicative experience. It is substantiated that the establishment of the educational process for future journalists on the basis of a communicativeactivity approach is an objective social need, as it enables the development of the rhetorical potential of an individual, his or her rhetorical skills, and the formation of the respective rhetorical culture. The core interdisciplinary pattern is highlighted, notably the impact of the theory of linguistics on rhetoric, linguistic didactics as specific scholarly fields. It is emphasized that a communicative-activity approach to teaching of linguistic disciplines is scientifically expedient in the formation of the rhetorical competence in future journalists, since it is able to provide for an optimal content-and-education ratio between the knowledge component and the acquisition communicative experience in solving life and professional problems. It is ascertained that the functioning of journalism as a media industry in a changing and challenging modern society reasonably determines the introduction of changes in the content and technological components of the specialist training in the field of social communications subject to the educational strategies of the competence paradigm. The practical framework of the activity of the future journalist, but for the formation of a positive personal image, encourages promptness in processing, understanding and generalization of information accrued from various sources, competent use of the powerful resources of the Ukrainian language, and orients to prospects in the actualization of his intellectual and personal potential.
