Abstract

The educational and methodological manual presents theoretical and methodological material on the main issues of arranging pop and jazz compositions for bayan and accordion. The purpose of the proposed methodology is to expand the stylistic boundaries of the bayanist and accordionist's repertoire, increase the possibilities of operating with author's discoveries in the process of arranging and performing pop and jazz music, implementing performance concepts of musical works in the desired genres and styles, adapting them to one's own playing and capabilities. The publication of the manual is advisable to use in the process of studying disciplines of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels of higher education, in particular: "Special instrument", "Instrumental ensemble", "Reading orchestral scores and instrumentation", "Instrumentation and arrangement of works for ensemble". For students of higher art education institutions.
