Abstract

Professional music education is becoming increasingly important in the cultural development and spiritual improvement of society. In such a situation, musical art and education, which have a wide creative range of activities, impose a special responsibility on the system of training artistic specialists in accordance with modern requirements and require filling the educational process with deep artistic content. In the diverse genre structure of musical art, vocal and performing creativity occupies an important place, so the training of highly qualified specialists in this field is one of the priority areas of higher music education. Given the above, the musical culture of vocalists is a crucial factor that largely determines the quality of education. That is why raising the level of musical culture by enriching future vocalists with knowledge of cultural studies, art history, and music education theory is an urgent need of our time.
