Abstract

The article raises the issue of improving the psychological competence of teachers of historical and civic education. For the first time, according to the updated professional standard "Teacher of a general secondary education institution", the state of formation of the specified competence of teachers of Kyiv city was investigated, according to the self-assessment questionnaire, and the needs of teachers for its improvement were identified. The possibilities of using the results of the study for the development of advanced training programs for teachers in order to improve their professional activities are proposed
