Abstract

The article explores digital transformation as a key element of the economic management mechanism of business entities under conditions of technological change and globalization. The author analyzes the impact of digital transformation on the structure of enterprises, decision-making processes, and overall business sustainability. The paper highlights the importance of adaptability, continuous innovation, and the integration of digital technologies in strategic and operational management. A structural-logical model of digital transformation is developed, considering technical, institutional, organizational, and human capital factors. The study emphasizes the role of digital culture and leadership in successful transformation, as well as the growing significance of flexible project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum. The digital transformation process is viewed as a driver of competitiveness, enabling organizations to improve customer experience, enhance internal efficiency, and quickly adapt to dynamic market environments. Empirical examples from manufacturing, retail, banking, logistics, and agriculture illustrate how technology reshapes operational models, requiring new skills and rethinking traditional business approaches. The research concludes that digital transformation is not optional but a strategic necessity for modern enterprises. It also highlights the importance of government support, cybersecurity, and digital maturity in achieving sustainable digital growth. The article contributes to the theoretical framework of economic governance in the digital age. It reveals the multi-dimensional nature of transformation and the interconnection between technology and economic effectiveness. In addition, the study underscores the need for cross-sector collaboration to foster a more resilient digital infrastructure. Particular attention is paid to the scalability and replicability of digital transformation models across different industries. The findings aim to support policy makers and business leaders in developing forward-looking digital strategies grounded in data-driven decision-making.
