Abstract
We have entered the age of AI. It has become an integral part of our professional lives as educators. It is now everywhere, reshaping the way we teach and learn. For teachers, one thing is clear: we cannot ignore it. We must learn how to use it effectively, how to recognize its influence in student work, and how to integrate it meaningfully into classroom activities. As teachers, we are expected to stay one step ahead of our students — a task that is increasingly challenging in the age of AI. We aim to share our own experience of teaching with the help of ChatGPT — how to reshape classroom activities, design teaching materials, and assign homework with the understanding that students can complete tasks in minutes using AI. Most importantly, we will explore how to turn ChatGPT from a potential foe into a valuable ally, showing that it is not something to fear, but a tool that can be truly helpful and reliable once you know “how to tame the dragon”.
