Abstract

The article discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations of forming the readiness of future teachers for innovative activities as one of the key components of their professional training. Attention is drawn to the relevance of the problem in the context of transformational processes in the field of education, the need to introduce innovative approaches to teaching, as well as the strengthening of requirements for creativity, mobility and flexibility of the future teacher. The essence of the concept of ‘readiness for innovation activity’ is analysed, its structural components (motivational and value, cognitive, operational and creative and productive), as well as pedagogical conditions for the effective formation of this quality are outlined. It is determined that the leading role in the process of forming the readiness of higher education students for innovative pedagogical activity is played by personal motivation to self-development, positive attitude to innovations, readiness for professional risk and experimentation. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the educational environment, which should promote the development of students' innovative potential, stimulate their creativity, initiative, critical thinking, ability to generate new ideas and implement them in practice. The author emphasises the importance of introducing modern pedagogical technologies, methods of problem-based and project-based learning, information and communication tools that allow higher education students to develop the competencies necessary for innovative pedagogical activities.
