Abstract

The article is dedicated to the pedagogical, scientific, tourism and local lore research activities of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor S. R. Babushko. The article sequentially reveals the stages of her life and formation as a teacher who successfully uses local lore research results as an effective means of educating and nurturing modern youth. The study covers key aspects of her contribution to the development of educational, tourism and local lore research, including scientific achievements, teaching activities in higher education, work as a teacher in a rural school, and active participation in public life. Particular attention is paid to her interest in local lore studies and the implementation of their ideas in the education of the younger generation, the organization and participation in scientific-practical events, expeditions, and travels. Svitlana Babushko’s contribution is significant and valuable for the development of regional studies, national pedagogy, and tourism development.
