Abstract

The article examines the impact of media and social networks on the development of national identity among modern Ukrainian youth, particularly in the context of an information society and ongoing military operations. The study aims to identify the key mechanisms by which social media platforms construct the national consciousness of the young generation. Particular attention is paid to identifying potential risks associated with the spread of disinformation, propaganda, and other digital threats that may impact the national self-identification of young people. The materials can serve as the basis for developing information security and media literacy strategies aimed at protecting the national identity of the young generation.
