Abstract

The banking system is a key component of the financial market, the control over its stability and efficiency is able to ensure the stability of the functioning of market relations. Its undisputed affiliation to the mechanism for ensuring the development of the national economy lies in the position of the banking sector as the main source of capital formation in the economy. Thus, having the main function of redistributing funds and financial resources between different industries and economic entities, the banking system can be considered one of the key indicators of the current state of the Ukrainian economy.
