Abstract
Pasko M. Redesign of the «UNO» сard пame. Qualification work. Kyiv: Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, 2025. 76 p. The qualification work is dedicated to the graphic redesign of the card-based board game "UNO", taking into account modern visual trends, the needs of the target audience, and the specifics of the board game market. The main objective is to preserve the recognizability of this iconic product while introducing an updated stylistic solution. The theoretical part explores the history of board game development, particularly card games as a separate subgenre. It includes an analysis of classification criteria of game products and the main characteristics of "UNO". The study also examines thematic and commercial analogues, as well as visual components - color palettes, typography, brand identity that ensure the game's stylistic consistency and recognizability. The practical part focuses on the development of a new design concept for "UNO" based on the imagery of magical forest cats. A stylistic approach combining illustrative techniques with vector minimalism was selected. The target audience was studied, user profiles were created, and a series of exploratory sketches and moodboards were developed. Based on these materials, the final design of game cards, packaging, and instructions was created and adapted to the needs of contemporary users.
