Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of scientific publications, which enables the authors to refine the research problem and define the study’s purpose. It examines the scope of information and museum activities, outlining their core and related areas of practical implementation. The study emphasizes that the content of scientific, cultural, and educational work depends on a balanced interaction of morality, ideology, and law. It also identifies the place and role of the National Military History Museum of Ukraine (NMHMU) in fostering patriotism and shaping citizens’ psychological and military-professional qualities as part of ensuring national security and state development. The significance of the Concept and Program of Military-Patriotic Education in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is highlighted in the context of state objectives in military-patriotic and cultural-educational work. The article underscores the importance of regulatory and legal frameworks in ensuring the quality of museum and information activities. It summarizes the main directions and tasks of the NMHMU from 1995 to 2013 and outlines the museum’s achievements during this period, noting that positive results were attained through effective research, cultural and educational projects, collection management, exhibitions, methodological work, and public engagement.
