Abstract
Kyziun A. T. Development of Corporate Identity for an Art Educational Institution. Qualification work. Kyiv: Kyiv Metropolitan University named after Borys Grinchenko. 2025. 64 s. The theoretical part of the qualification work explores the historical formation of corporate identity, with particular attention to its connection with artistic and cultural trends, using the case study of the development of the visual identity of the art school «LUMIS». Based on historical analysis, it is argued that the visual language of brand identity is directly shaped by the stylistic features of each era. Particular emphasis is placed on the importance of understanding not only design trends, but also artistic paradigms that inform modern visual communication. A separate section is devoted to analyzing competing educational institutions, identifying common stylistic strategies and shortcomings in current branding practices. The practical part presents the development of a complete corporate identity system for the art school «LUMIS». Based on a detailed analysis of the target audience, brand positioning, and communication objectives, the project offers a conceptually grounded and flexible visual system. It includes a typographic logo with metaphorical references to «light», a refined color palette, auxiliary graphic elements, and a system of practical applications. The identity is implemented across various touchpoints: documentation, advertising, merchandise, and digital platforms. A guideline for further use and expansion of the identity system is also developed.
