Abstract
Koval V.V. Corporate identity of the confectionery cafe “Bonita”. Qualification work. Kyiv: Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, 2025. 61p. The presented qualification work focuses on a comprehensive analysis of the concept of corporate identity as part of a graphic designer's work, as well as the development of a corporate identity for the Bonita confectionery cafe. Given the intense competition in the food industry — particularly in the confectionery segment — the number of newly opened cafes continues to grow. However, many fail to establish themselves in the market due to an inability to effectively compete for their target audience’s attention, ultimately leading to a loss of clientele. In this competitive environment, developing a strong corporate identity becomes one of the designer’s key tasks. Since visual perception is one of the primary channels for receiving information, identity plays a crucial role in shaping an establishment’s image. A well-crafted corporate identity helps create an associative link between a cafe’s design, its concept, atmosphere, and level of service. This study examines both the theoretical and practical aspects of creating a corporate identity, including its historical origins. It analyzes and compares the identity development process for confectioneries in their early stages with modern approaches to identity design.
