Abstract

The relevance of the research problem is due to the complexity of the modern information environment, in which traditional spiritual guidelines collide with manipulative technologies of influence on public consciousness. In the context of hybrid wars, which combine military, information, psychological and cultural methods, religion becomes not only a sphere of beliefs, but also an object of destructive rethinking. The digital environment, which provides instant exchange of information, simultaneously creates opportunities for the transmission of both humanistic and hostile ideologies, often disguising the latter as religious values. Given the growing importance of the religious factor in socio-political processes, as well as the role of digital technologies in the formation of worldviews, the study of this issue is necessary to understand the mechanisms for protecting the national religious and cultural space and ensuring the spiritual security of society in conditions of information confrontation. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to clarify the essence of the worldview challenges of hybrid wars in the religious space of the digital age. The goal determines the following tasks: defining the phenomenon of hybrid war in its religious and cultural dimension; clarifying the main strategies of the manipulative influence of Russia's religious hybrid war against Ukraine; defining the main directions of counteraction to the hostile religious hybrid war.
