Abstract
This article deals with the trends of cross-cultural dialogueas exemplified in fiction and non-fiction texts, published in the modern literary journals. The literary texts have been expounded in journal context, intermedial correlations have been traced between the verbal and non-verbal texts and their material medium. Reconstruction of a story represented by verbal and non-verbal texts has been accomplished.
