Abstract
The study examines the covers and individual letterforms of Sviatoslav Hordynskyi. It investigates the influence of national traditions and the significance of the artist’s work for contemporary typeface design. The role and importance of accidental font in graphic design are analyzed. Typeface is highlighted as one of the key elements shaping the visual representation of Ukrainian identity.
