Abstract

One of the first and most important issues of choral studies is the definition of the concept of "choir", which became a scientific justification in the works of leading domestic choral conductors G. Dmitrievsky, O. Yegorov, V. Krasnoshchokov, P. Levando, K. Pigrov, V. Sokolov, G. Struve. P. Chesnokova. K. Pigrov defines the concept of "choir" as an organized collective of singers.
