Abstract
The article substantiates the concept of barrier-free language as a managerial instrument of facilitated dialogue within the system of modern organizational leadership, which is particularly relevant in the context of war and post-war recovery. The study is based on the understanding that language in organizations performs not only a communicative but also a managerial function, influencing the level of trust, motivational climate, and psychological safety of personnel. The purpose of the article is to provide a scientific rationale and to develop a management toolkit for communicative barrier-freeness in organizations as a factor in shaping facilitated dialogue and a culture of trust within the system of contemporary leadership. The methodological basis includes a content analysis of state and professional sources (National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Space until 2030, HR Praktyka 3.0, HR Guide on the Adaptation of Veterans, Methodological Recommendations for Employers by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and Veteran Hub), which made it possible to identify typical linguistic risks in internal organizational communications. The research results comprise a typology of linguistic risks and the development of the Index of Barrier-Free Language (IBL) –a quantitative indicator that reflects the balance between supportive and triggering expressions in the corporate environment. The application of IBL enables the integration of linguistic sensitivity into risk management systems, allows the measurement of communicative safety levels, and helps assess the maturity of managerial culture. The conclusions demonstrate that barrier-free language is not only an ethical principle but also a strategic resource of servant leadership, capable of enhancing the effectiveness of internal communications, reducing social tension, and supporting the reintegration of veterans into the workforce. The practical significance of the study lies in the potential implementation of the Index of Barrier-Free Language into HR analytics systems and non-financial (ESG) reporting, contributing to the creation of psychologically safe workplaces. Further research may focus on developing models for monitoring the “linguistic climate” of organizations and defining sectoral standards of communicative safety as a component of servant leadership in the post-war economy
