Abstract
The theses analyze the psychological factors of the formation of research skills in high school students, and indicate that for the formation of research skills in the process of learning the Ukrainian language, it is advisable to take into account cognitive interests, intellectual capabilities and abilities,the tendency to linguistic creativity and speech production of high school students, types of temperament are characterized, the consideration of which contributes to the creation of favorable conditions in educational and cognitive activities for each student.
