Abstract

The article examines the online project “Pedagogical Map of Kyiv”, aimed at popularizing the names of Ukrainian educators in the urban space of the capital. It analyzes the results of the renaming of streets, alleys, boulevards, and avenues of Kyiv in 2022–2024, many of which were named after teachers, scholars, school founders, and textbook authors. The project is shown to perform a dual function: commemorating educators and creating an additional resource for historical and pedagogical research. The role of the Pedagogical Museum of Ukraine as the project initiator and implementer is highlighted. Through social media posts and webinars the project contributes to the formation of a modern memory culture, the preservation of historical heritage, the development of civic consciousness
