Abstract

The bachelor’s qualification paper explores the use of storytelling in the creation of cultural media content. The practical outcome is a series of original music podcasts titled “Lost in Lyrics”, dedicated to the lyrical analysis and artistic interpretation of songs by Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, and Florence + the Machine. During the pre-graduation internship at BG Radio, the audio essay format was implemented, combining journalistic analysis, emotional narration, and expressive sound design. The aim of the project is to demonstrate how podcasting transforms music journalism, making it deeper and more accessible to a younger audience. The project was tested on the YouTube platform and received positive feedback from listeners. The work confirms the effectiveness of storytelling in covering musical topics and the potential of podcasts as a tool for cultural communication.
