Abstract
The thesis is devoted to the study of podcasting as a modern format of journalism in Ukraine using the author's audio project "History on the Shores". The focus is on the small rivers of Ukraine as ecosystems, elements of cultural identity, spaces of historical memory and sources of local folklore. The aim of the study is to create a journalistic audio project in the format of a documentary podcast, which actualizes the problem of preserving small rivers of Ukraine through the means of narrative journalism and modern formats of digital broadcasting. The paper analyzes the theoretical and methodological principles of podcasting, its genre specificity, technical features and tools for interacting with the audience. The emphasis is on the integration of journalistic standards with artistic means of sound design, which ensures the emotional immersion of the listener. The podcast is considered as an effective tool for personalized communication and preserving national identity in the conditions of digital transformation of the media environment. Special attention is paid to the content creation methodology: the preparation of each episode includes archival research, recording of the residents' live voices, audio design, and final editing. This approach allows for the formation of an authentic, deep media product that combines public history with the intimacy of audio communication.
