Abstract
"Press under Fire" is an original Instagram blog dedicated to covering journalism in wartime conditions, the rights of media workers, the risks they face, as well as news, interviews, and fact-checking materials. The main goal of the project is to inform the audience about the work of journalists in conflict zones, to increase understanding of the challenges of war reporting, and to draw attention to the protection of freedom of speech. The instabog is primarily aimed at students and Instagram users interested in the topic of war. The blog’s visual style is based on a combination of text, photos, and short videos, which allows for the concise, clear, and accessible delivery of information. The main brand colors — black, red, white, and khaki — symbolize the contrast between truth and propaganda, risk and duty. By utilizing Instagram’s features (reactions, comments, shares), it was possible to analyze audience engagement, particularly their responses to interviews with Ukrainian journalists who worked in active war zones. As part of the blog’s development, the content strategies of other Ukrainian and international media on Instagram and Telegram were also studied. This made it possible to identify effective visual approaches and content formats, adapting the project to audience needs while maintaining journalistic standards of accuracy, balance, and fact-checking. "Press under Fire" is not only an informational platform but also an effort to draw society’s attention to those who risk their lives for the truth.
