Abstract
This paper explores the challenges journalists face while working during the full-scale invasion, based on the author’s experience as a correspondent for the Kyiv24 TV channel. The relevance of the topic lies in the fact that Ukraine is currently living through wartime, and the work of correspondents today differs greatly from what aspiring journalists were prepared for before 2022. Many of the difficulties and nuances of reporting from attack sites or during crisis situations remain underexplored. This research aims to highlight the specific challenges journalists face in wartime and the strategies they use to overcome them. A significant aspect of the Kyiv24 correspondent’s work involves tracking events in the capital and delivering prompt live coverage. A significant part of the Kyiv24 correspondent’s work involves monitoring various events in the capital and delivering timely live reports. Special attention is given to covering the aftermath of Russian attacks on Kyiv. The duration of live broadcasts may vary. The text is supplemented with screenshots from the channel’s live broadcasts, where these live reports took place. In total, approximately one hundred live reports were conducted during the period of this activity.
