Abstract

The Polish model of social work with people with disabilities is based on the principles of inclusion and international standards. It includes multi-level financial support, employment programs, educational inclusion and transformation from an institutional to a community service system. Inclusive education operates through psychological and pedagogical services with interdisciplinary teams. The model is based on the principle of “nothing about us without us” and the active involvement of people with disabilities. The experience of Poland is important for Ukraine in the context of European integration.
