Abstract

The bachelor’s qualification thesis is dedicated to studying the process of creating, developing and promoting the author’s blog on the social media platform Instagram titled “Ne toy ustriu”, which aims to challenge socially imposed beauty standards. The research analyzes the role of social media in shaping perceptions of visual standards and the impact of idealized images on an individual’s mental health. The project’s content focuses on materials that support inclusivity, body positivity and aim to expose the underlying reasons behind the creation and imposition of beauty standards. By analysing effective strategies for content creation and presentation, the study explores audience characteristics and evaluates the impact of such blogs on changing society’s perceptions of beauty and human value. The project is considered promising and the materials developed within its framework can be used in educational work and adapted as learning resources.
