Abstract
The media project defines the role of online journalism in covering social initiatives. Within the framework of the project, _ articles were created on the topic: “How GoFundMe changed fundraising for charity: an example of helping Ukraine”, which discusses various initiatives to support Ukraine. “The power of social networks as a catalyst for change: the history of a women's initiative that helps on the front line” highlights the history of the volunteer organization “Cvit Ukraine”. One of the issues is dedicated to the new format and change in journalism using the example of blogger I. Lachen, which is reflected in the material “Lachen and six hryvnias: how social networks turn journalism into a tool of action”. There is also an article ““Grinchenko-Inform”: How Instagram can increase student engagement”, which presents opportunities for student engagement. The latest article reveals the journey of a girl who helps the military in her own way. The title of this issue is: “‘My Instagram is my little front’: how a military man’s daughter turned her personal page into logistical support.”
