Abstract

The article investigates the methodological foundations of integrating managerial and public administration approaches in modern scientific research, emphasizing their convergence within contemporary governance systems. The relevance of the topic lies in the need to reconcile the rational and efficiency-driven logic of management with the value-oriented and socially responsible principles of public administration. The growing interdependence of public and private sectors, the digital transformation of governance, and the multidimensional nature of social processes necessitate the creation of an integrated methodological framework for analyzing management phenomena. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the theoretical and methodological synthesis of these disciplines, enabling a unified scientific understanding of governance as a complex socio-economic and institutional system. The methodological basis of the research relies on systematic, synergistic, institutional, and axiological approaches combined with general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, modeling, and abstraction. The results reveal that the integration of managerial and public administration paradigms expands the epistemological boundaries of management science by incorporating ethical, legal, and socio-political dimensions into decision-making models. This integration ensures a balance between organizational efficiency, social justice, and legitimacy, forming a comprehensive conceptual basis for governance research. The practical significance of the study lies in its applicability to improving strategic planning, designing adaptive public policies, and developing educational programs for training professionals capable of operating in hybrid management systems. The conclusions emphasize that methodological convergence contributes to strengthening the interdisciplinary potential of modern management science, increasing the coherence, flexibility, and resilience of governance mechanisms in response to the dynamic challenges of global transformation.
