Abstract

The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the influence of family upbringing on the development of the emotional sphere in preschool children. The relevance of the work is determined by the fact that the preschool period is critical for the formation of emotional competence, which lays the foundation for psychological well-being, social adaptation, and successful educational activities of the child. The study conducts a theoretical analysis of the characteristics of the emotional sphere in preschoolers and the classification of parental upbringing styles, along with their connection to the child's emotional responses. Through empirical research, it has been established that the emotional development of preschoolers, including their ability to recognize, express, and regulate feelings, directly depends on the emotional atmosphere in the family, as well as on the ways parents demonstrate and discuss their own emotions, serving as role models for imitation. The research revealed a significant correlation between the nature of parent- child relationships (in particular, the level of acceptance, control, and emotional Журнал «Перспективи та інновації науки» (Серія «Педагогіка», Серія «Психологія», Серія «Медицина») № 11(57) 2025 warmth) and the degree of formation of children's emotional competence. Emphasis is placed on the need for a systemic approach to studying family influence, taking into account contemporary sociocultural changes. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the in-depth analysis of psychological mechanisms of the mediated impact of family upbringing and the improvement of diagnostic approaches for the early detection of disharmonies in the development of the emotional sphere. The practical value of the results consists in the possibility of their use for developing targeted programs of psychological support for families, preventing emotional disorders in preschoolers, and enhancing the emotional competence of parents and educators.
