Abstract

The article presents the results of a theoretical and applied study aimed at developing a model of an interactive-visual management environment as a tool for enhancing analytical, communicative, and creative competences of future managers within the course Information Technologies in Management. It is substantiated that the digital transformation of management education requires rethinking not only technical aspects but also the cognitive and competence-based foundations of professional training. The research identifies a scientific gap – the lack of an integrated approach that combines analytical, communicative, and visual tools within a unified educational and managerial framework. The proposed three-level model integrates analytical, communicative, and creative components that reflect the full cycle of managerial decision-making in a digital format. The analytical component ensures data collection, processing, and visualization through tools such as Canva, Coggle, and WiseMapping; the communicative component enables interactive collaboration via Mentimeter, AhaSlides, and Mural; and the creative component supports idea generation and visual modeling through Mindly and Canva. The model functions as a dynamic ecosystem where data, people, and technologies interact continuously, forming an integrated digital competence of the manager. To empirically validate the model, a pilot survey was conducted among students majoring in Management using the Mentimeter platform. The results revealed that students already demonstrate a basic understanding of digital thinking focused on communication, analytics, and creativity. These findings confirmed the effectiveness of integrating digital platforms into the educational process for developing interactive-visual managerial thinking. The model performs a dual function – as both an educational tool and a simulator of managerial processes – facilitating a shift from reproductive to project-based learning. It develops the meta-competencies of future managers: the ability to think with data, collaborate in digital teams, make informed decisions, and visualize managerial processes effectively.
