Abstract

The article examines the managerial aspects of developing digital competence of preschool education teachers in the context of the modern electronic educational environment. It is emphasized that digital competence is not only one of the important components of professional training but also a fundamental condition for the effective activity of a teacher, which determines the quality of the educational process, the efficiency of interaction with all participants of the educational environment, and the safety of using digital resources in working with preschool children. It includes the ability to reasonably select digital tools, critically evaluate information sources, create and adapt educational content, as well as organize safe digital interaction, whichhas strategic significance for modern pedagogical practice. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign studies, the importance of teachers’ digital literacy is substantiated as a necessary prerequisite for the innovative development of preschool education and its compliance with modern European and global trends in the field of digitalization. The article systematizes the main groups of management tools for the development of digital competence, which include regulatory, organizational, methodological, educational and training, technological, diagnostic and monitoring, and motivational tools. Their content, interrelation, and potential in forming a sustainable digital culture of pedagogical teams are disclosed in detail, which ensures the integrity and stability of educational changes and contributes to the implementation of effective managerial decisions. Particular attention is paid to the role of the head of a preschool institution as a coordinator of digital transformation, capable of combining strategic planning, methodological support, organizational mechanisms, and practical actions in the direction of developing the digital skills of staff. The conclusion highlights the necessity of complex and consistent use of managerial tools, which creates prerequisites for improving the quality of the educational process, strengthens teachers’ readiness for innovative activities, forms a sustainable digital culture in the professional environment, and promotes the integration of Ukrainian preschool education into the digital society
