Abstract

Yurii Lypa is known as a public figure, writer, translator, publicist, doctor, author of the Ukrainian geopolitical concept, and one of the key ideologists of Ukrainian nationalism, tortured to death by the Chekists on 20 August 1944; for a long time, his name was banned by Muscovy, and only during the independence period did his legacy and creative achievements become accessible to Ukrainians. Today, we are reinterpreting the texts of Y. Lypa, who, back in the first half of the 20th century, predicted all the threats that Muscovy poses to our homeland, democracy, and national and cultural development.
