Abstract

Master’s degree in Specialty 061 “Journalism”, educational program “Journalism”. – Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University. – Kyiv, 2025. – 40 p. The master’s thesis presents the author’s information and analytical media project AutoNews.UA, developed as a modern digital platform focused on automotive journalism. The research analyzes the functioning of online media, the specifics of niche automotive journalism, content production strategies, analytical tools, and technical aspects of website development. The theoretical part outlines the methodological foundations of creating an information-analytical media resource, examines the evolution of automotive media in Ukraine and worldwide, and applies contemporary communication models (including H. Pocheptsov’s communication theory) within the context of digital journalism. The study highlights the principles of high-quality journalism, structure of analytical content, and approaches to data-driven media production. The practical part includes the development of the AutoNews.UA website using the WordPress CMS, creation of its structure, thematic sections, visual design, SEO optimization, and implementation of an initial web analytics system. The audience was studied using the 5W analysis model, the competitive landscape was evaluated, and promising directions for project growth were identified. The result of the work is a fully functional information and analytical website designed for providing timely and in-depth coverage of automotive topics, scalable and ready for the integration of multimedia formats and monetization tools.
