Abstract

The key factor in ensuring competitive advantages in the digital economy is intellectual capital, which accumulates knowledge, skills, personnel competencies, organizational routine processes, corporate culture and interaction with customers and partners. Unlike material resources, intellectual capital is dynamic and capable of self-reproduction, which makes it a strategic asset of the enterprise. In the context of digital transformation, the role of intellectual capital is being rethought, since digital technologies not only increase the efficiency of its use, but also form new requirements for the structure, quality and mechanisms of management of this resource. The article examines the relationship between digital transformation and the development of intellectual capital as key imperatives for ensuring the competitiveness of an enterprise in the digital economy. It is substantiated that the introduction of digital technologies transforms approaches to the formation, use and reproduction of intellectual capital, strengthening the role of knowledge, personnel competencies and organizational innovations in achieving sustainable competitive advantages. The purpose of the presented work is to determine the features of digital transformation and intellectual capital, as well as to identify the imperatives of the enterprise's competitiveness. The study analyzed the components of intellectual capital (human, structural and client) and determined the impact of digital tools on the effectiveness of their management. It is shown that digital transformation contributes to increasing labor productivity, accelerating knowledge exchange, developing innovative potential and adaptability of the enterprise to dynamic changes in the market environment. Strategic directions for integrating digital solutions into the intellectual capital management system are determined in order to strengthen the competitiveness of enterprises. The implementation of digital solutions, such as big data, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, automated management systems and digital platforms, changes the nature of work processes and communications, promotes the accumulation and dissemination of knowledge, and also strengthens the importance of continuous training and development of personnel. In this context, human capital becomes a central component of intellectual capital, and its ability to adapt and innovate is a determining factor in successful digital transformation. At the same time, digitalization poses new challenges related to the shortage of digital competencies, resistance to organizational change, and uneven access to modern technologies
