Abstract

The digital project “Enchanted Circle” is an online media platform dedicated to the history of Ukrainian culture and art. The aim of this master’s qualification work is to popularize lesser-known works and movements of Ukrainian art in order to overcome the inferiority complex, inspire contemporary Ukrainian artists, and broaden their stylistic range through knowledge of the distinctive features of different historical periods. The media’s thematic focus is primarily on artists and artworks from the second half of the 20th century, though it may expand to include other historical eras if their features contribute to the development of artistic styles. Structurally, the website contains a selection of original materials presented in a portfolio format, including articles, interviews, reviews, portrait essays, and longreads. The texts are complemented by original visual title designs, which are also used to promote the publication on social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, and the Telegram messenger. All posts are accompanied by images and links. In the future, the project plans to expand its team and enhance its scope by developing video content on the same cultural and artistic topics, to be published on the YouTube platform.
