Abstract
The relevance of the study is due to the need to form the research competence of preschool children. The potential possibilities of construction in the context of the formation of the research competence of preschool children as an activity aimed not only at creating something new, but also at studying objects and phenomena of the surrounding world, using various methods of their examination are substantiated. The purpose of the study is to create and test a methodological support toolkit for the formation of the research competence of older preschool children in the process of construction. The practical significance of the master's qualification project lies in the development of a methodological support toolkit for the formation of the research competence of older preschool children in the process of construction. In particular, the website "Treasury of practical resources" has been developed, the sections of which contain technological maps for creating products from various residual materials, tips and recommendations for studying various residual materials, etc.
