Abstract
This master’s thesis explores the emerging formats of mass communication and their role in shaping the modern media landscape. The research analyzes the transformation of media communication under the influence of digital technologies, focusing on the development of podcasts, video blogs, live-streaming platforms, interactive content, and short-form video formats. The study examines the specific features of these formats, their impact on information consumption models, and the resulting changes within traditional media structures. The work highlights key trends in digital communication, the mechanisms of interaction between media platforms and audiences, and the influence of social-media algorithms in shaping the contemporary information environment. Particular attention is given to issues of media literacy, user adaptation to new information formats, and the growing importance of personalized content. The findings demonstrate that innovative communication formats have become crucial drivers in the evolution of modern media, fostering democratization of the information space, increased interactivity, and higher audience engagement. Based on the analysis, the thesis offers recommendations for the effective application of digital formats in media practice.
