Abstract

The relevance of the chosen topic is due to modern requirements for the quality of preschool education, which focuses on the holistic development of the child, in particular his emotional sphere, because it is at an early age that the foundations of emotional sensitivity, the ability to empathize are laid, and the primary ways of responding to the emotional states of other people are formed. The work substantiates that one of the effective means of emotional development of young children is reading literary texts adapted to the age capabilities of children, since it creates conditions for emotional experience, empathy for characters and the formation of positive emotional experience. The key thesis of the master's project is the assertion that a literary text, especially reading, adapted to the age characteristics of children, is an effective means of influencing literary development; the quality of this influence largely depends on the competence of the educator, as well as his ability to correctly select texts, use methods of emotional activation and create a favorable environment for reading. The purpose of the work is to theoretically substantiate and experimentally verify the effectiveness of teachers' methodological support in promoting the emotional development of young children while reading literary texts.
