Abstract
Abstract This master’s thesis examines the specifics of portrait interviews with service members of the Defense Forces of Ukraine during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022–2025. The work analyzes the origins, typology, and techniques of portrait interviews based on case studies of successful contemporary media projects. It identifies a new model of documentary journalism that combines journalistic standards, ethical protocols, legal mechanisms, and multimedia presentation. The results of the study provide a deeper understanding of the role of media projects as a tool for shaping public opinion and societal resilience, promoting military service, shaping the image and supporting soldiers on the information front, and ensuring a balance between the technological component, human stories, and the strategic goals of the Defense Forces of Ukraine's communications.
