Abstract

The master's thesis consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions presented on 72 pages, a list of references with 66 sources, containing 16 tables. Object of research is the development of local territorial communities. Subject of research is the impact of the decentralization of power on the development of local territorial communities. The aim of the work is the theoretical substantiation and development of practical recommendations for enhancing the impact of decentralization on the development of local territorial communities. The thesis examines the theoretical foundations of decentralization in the system of public administration; explores the evolution of decentralization processes, including international and domestic experience, and analyzes its impact on the socio-economic development of territorial communities; conducts an analysis of the impact of the decentralization reform on the development of local territorial communities (using the example of Yahotyn and Bila Tserkva United Territorial Communities (UTCs)), and identifies key problems and limitations in the implementation of the reform; substantiates strategic directions for enhancing the impact of decentralization on the development of local territorial communities, including defining development prospects, ways to optimize the financial provision of local self-government, and developing recommendations for improving the quality of local public services through the implementation of a smart-development model and inter-municipal cooperation. Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Office Word application packages were used during the execution of the work.
