Abstract
This Master’s thesis examines the theoretical foundations of assessment, self-assessment in general secondary education institutions as a tool for ensuring the quality of education. The regulatory and legal framework governing the self-assessment processes of management activities is characterized. The study defines the specifics and provides an analysis of the self-assessment of management processes using the "Obolon" Lyceum in Kyiv as a case study. Contemporary Ukrainian and foreign practices for implementing internal quality assurance systems are explored. Practical recommendations have been developed to improve the self-assessment procedures of management processes in general secondary education institutions.
