Abstract
The master’s thesis investigates theoretical and practical aspects of the information and managerial activities of the head of a general secondary education institution (GSEI). The content of key managerial competencies in the context of digital transformation of education is revealed, and an analysis of problems and directions for improving managerial activities is conducted. A model for enhancing the efficiency of the head’s activities is developed, comprising ten stages: diagnosis of digital competencies, determination of strategic goals, creation of a personal competency map, training courses, implementation of electronic document management, organization of information flows and delegation, centralization of data, analytics and monitoring, support and experience exchange, evaluation of results, and strategy correction. The study includes analysis of theoretical sources, normative and legal acts, as well as practical recommendations for implementing the model in secondary education institutions.
