Abstract

The article shows the place of physical activity in human life, and clarifies the harmful effects of sedentary activity on the health of children, in particular primary school students. The results of scientists' research have proven a direct connection between health and active physical activity of people, and have indicated the negative impact of lack of physical activity, which leads to weakening of organs. The importance of joint activities of parents, class teachers, and physical education teachers in the formation of a child's psychomotor activity as a significant factor in the development of his body and psyche is noted.
