Abstract
The article «3D Modeling: A Bridge Between Tradition and the Digital Future of Ukrainian Ethno-Art» examines the conceptual, methodological, and practical aspects of employing three-dimensional technologies in preserving and interpreting Ukrainian cultural heritage. The study substantiates the importance of the digital transformation of traditional forms of ethno-art in the context of globalization and the rapid development of visual technologies. Special emphasis is placed on the potential of 3D modeling for the accurate documentation of ethnographic objects, the creation of virtual replicas, the reconstruction of lost artifacts, the modeling of traditional environments, and the reproduction of objects of decorative and applied arts. The article analyzes the interdisciplinary nature of using 3D technologies in ethno-design, museology, digital humanities, and education. It demonstrates how 3D modeling stimulates new scientific approaches, contributes to the actualization of traditions in contemporary culture, and creates new channels of interaction with young audiences through interactive platforms, VR/AR technologies, and multimedia exhibition projects. The study also addresses issues of authenticity and accuracy in digital reconstructions, ethical considerations in cultural heritage representation, and the risks of commercializing heritage in digital formats. Additionally, the article explores how 3D modeling becomes a tool for creatively reinterpreting traditional ornaments, symbols, and forms, fostering the development of a new digital language of ethno-art. It highlights the role of 3D technologies in shaping pedagogical strategies that integrate digital creativity into the educational process, as well as in ensuring broader access to cultural values. The article concludes that 3D modeling is not only a technical instrument but also a cultural phenomenon that builds a bridge between historical tradition and the digital future, contributing to the comprehensive development of Ukrainian ethno-art in the modern era.
