Abstract

The article substantiates the need for systemic comparative integration of a set of scientifically proven and practically tested approaches to providing psychotherapeutic assistance based on the distinction between nomothetic and idiographic levels of analysis. The phenomenological foundations of a comparative-integrative approach are examined, which builds the basic framework for analyzing client requests and creates a multidimensional plane based on a comprehensive methodological foundation of the following approaches: psychotechnical; ontological; systemic; trans-theoretical existential-systemic; structural; spectral; biographical-existential. The study substantiates the relevance of objectifying of integrating paradigmatic methods of counseling and therapy, with two planes being distinguished: nomothetic and ideographic. It has been determined that the nomothetic aspect is regulated by general regularities through the creation of a mandatory framework of competence for psychologists. The following descriptive dimensions are outlined: changes, goals, stages of change, processes of change, with the identification of elements for their analysis: content, means, and stages of dynamics. The idiographic level is conceptualized as outlining the internal horizons and substantively outlines the internal horizons of the comparative system of methods for providing psychological assistance, finding the common, different, and unique in the process of their development. The content of the functional system of interconnection of methodological approaches to providing psychological assistance is described according to the following criteria: approach; dichotomous “fragments-constructs” of comparative analysis; client requests, focus. A functional-operational model of interaction between the nomothetic and ideographic components of request processing is proposed, which takes into account the connections and intersections of their specific goals with the universal task of providing psychological assistance to clients and families.
